18th Battalion - NCO Photo Assessment [P104- P105]
18th Battalion - NCO Photo Assessment [P104- P105]
Many of the NCOs on this photo are also present on one or more of the other photos in the Book of Honour (see list below). The object of this assessment is to identify (pair) the same soldiers on the NCO photo and on the platoon photos. This will greatly enhance the process of identification of the NCOs.
There are 67 soldiers on the photograph (P105), however there are only 66 soldiers listed (P104) as being present and 7 listed as not being present.
Of the 66 soldiers listed a being present, 10 are listed as not being present on any of the platoon photos
Of the 7 listed as not present, 2 are also listed as not being present on any of the platoon photos
If there are 66 soldiers listed as being present and 10 of those do not appear on any other platoon photo then there are 56 soldiers that appear on other platoon photos and 56 'pairs' to be found.
55 of the soldiers that appear on the photo have been 'paired' with soldiers on other platoon photos by FR assessment.
This means that 1 'pair' remains unidentified (P115)
Summary from the facial recognitions below and the distribution of NCOs across the platoon photographs.
