6444 LCpl & CQMS Charles Frederick Warren [P14-P15]

 Identification: The identification of  Charles Warren has been made using facial recognition software. A known photo of Charles taken in his later years (credit Facebook - Donna Smith) has been compared with the platoon photo taken in 1915. R1 L7 has the highest resemblance level  @ 61.9%. Whilst this resemblance level is quite low, no doubt due to the time difference between the compared photographs, it is significantly higher than the next highest resemblance levels of 43.6% R1 L8 and 43.1% R5 L6. A further check has been undertaken using alternative software and has independently verified R1 L7 as having the highest facial resemblance (R1 L7 69%, R1 L8 49%, R5 L6 28%).

It is noted that a LCpl stripe is not visible.
