Identification:  The identification of Sgt JA (Bert) Payne has been made using facial recognition software and a photo from Stedman (see below).

The platoon photo R2 L1 is also identified as Sgt Bert Payne in the book Zero Hour Z Day, but the FR assessment has verified this independently. 

Sgt Bert Payne is also present on P6-P7. This has been verified with FR, see link above.
